Candidates for Your Vestry
The current vestry is deeply grateful to the people who have agreed to offer themselves as vestry candidates. Saying yes to the call to the vestry is one of those leaps of faith, whether you are a veteran of prior vestries or a first-timer. Please consider it in your future.

Bill Koucky
A chef/instructor at NECI, he can often be found in the kitchen at Christ Church with a bevy of students in tow for pancake breakfasts and pizza fund-raisers.
In the summer, he and his family join the Christ Church team to lead the middle school week at the Rock Point summer conferences.
One of his greatest gifts to Christ Church is the presence of his sons, Owen and Matthew.
Bill is deeply committed to this parish community and is a voice for those who want to give of their time and energy though may not be able to give what they would like financially.

Pat Morse
Back to my roots... I spent my growing up years in Montpelier, and then left for my life adventures—seventy years worth—and now I am back.
The church has been a part of my life in variety of ways. I was the wife of an Episcopal priest in the late 50’s and early 60’s. I learned a lot, not always easy. I have been a choir member in several churches, and on a vestry in another parish.
The Church has often been my lifeline.
I have two daughters, Bonnie and Mary. Three grand children, Jennifer, Alex and Rachel. And two great grand children, Robbie and Shane.
It would be a privilege for me to serve on the Vestry of Christ Church.

Stephen Reynes
Steve served as Junior Warden, Senior Warden and as a member of the Vestry at Christ Church in the 1990’s. He is a Lay Eucharistic Minister and an occasional preacher at Christ Church.
He also currently serves as President of the Rock Point Board.
Steve is married to Janet Ancel and they live in Calais. He is an attorney with [as of 1 / 1 /04] the law firm of Primmer & Piper in Montpelier.

Elizabeth Wilcox
I am a wife and mother of five children. My family and I began attending Christ Church about 2 ½ years ago.
It has always been important for me to be part of a church community that encourages participation in various ministries from all its’ members, including the children. I have found that here.
I have enjoyed being a part of the Children’s Church School and Adult Education classes. Being part of the vestry will give me an opportunity to see the “nuts and bolts” of the church and help me to better understand how I can effectively contribute to the body of Christ represented here and in the greater community.
