The Full Ladle Kitchen serves an average of 47 people a week, at a cost of less than 50 cents a meal. Nutrition and fellowship are shared in equal amounts. The Full Ladle is supported by donations that are specifically designated for its use. About 40% of the cost is donated during the actual meal.

Area food businesses are unbelievably generous in their support of the Full Ladle. Manghi’s Bread, Dunkin’ Donuts, Sammy’s Bagels, and La Brioche all contribute food regularly. Julio’s, Sarducci’s, The Wayside, The Thrush Tavern, and NECI donate soup, as do several church members.

The Full Ladle relies on volunteers who show up and work anytime between 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM on Wednesdays. We desperately need more people to contribute their time to this ministry, especially at clean-up time from 12:30 to 1:30.
