The Emergency Food Shelf is maintained by the church to help the many people who have exhausted the other food support services of the community. Claude Stone and the office volunteers give access to the food, which is donated throughout the year by parishoners. In December, Fred Terenzini of the Montpelier Post Office puts out big mail carts for donations, and brings them to us when they are full. We want to add shelves to a room in the basement to make a permanent home for the Food Shelf, and need volunteers with carpentry skills to make this happen. |
